D-Lited is simple. When a person leaves the restroom after exercising extreme prejudice, they simply tap the D-Lited light. The light will then display red, yellow and green for 5 minutes each, turning off automatically after 15 minutes while showing co-workers, friends, and family the bathroom is safe to enter.
Red means "no way," unless there's about to be a hull breach. Go find somewhere else to wash up for lunch!
Yellow is entirely up to you (if you REALLY want to place a bet at the craps table).
Green means "good to go" - it is safe to enter.
